Who is This Work of Heart August 29, 2006

This Work of Heart is me…Helen Lelia Washington.  I am truly a work of heart because of God.  He has created a new heart within me and everything that I am and desire to be is because of His indwelling Spirit within me.  I believe He speaks to me in many ways and however He does…remains a mystery to me but He compels me to write…so write I must.

Isaiah 61 says that we will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor…sounds pretty good to me…my deepest prayer is that these writings, really musings will be displaying God to the best of my fingers’ abilities.  I’m not one for being on display but if it is for His glory…then watch out…let the exhibitions begin! Or as Max from Where the Wild Things Are exclaims, “Let the wild rumpus start!”

Hey, you are absolutely lovely when you are willing to let the ‘wild rumpus start!’ We are all blessed that you were willing to risk letting God speak through your fingers and heart. Thanks for sharing!
