Welcome to A Work of Heart…I am so glad you found me!
On August 28, 2006 with the click of a few buttons…this blog was born…really the beginning of holding God’s hand as I took the risk to share my life in writing.
For as long as I can remember I have loved every facet of writing…from the alphabet to fonts to getting a nudge and seeing it laid down in black and white.
I find that the more I write…the more I find out about the Lover of my Soul…and I find my true home in Him…
Writing has been a seed that laid dormant for many years for a variety of reasons…I pray that this blog is the beginning of that seed taking hold of the soil where it resides and sprouting…growing…blooming…making seeds…spreading His love…finding its whole existence in the Maker of Heaven and Earth.
I hope you will always feel free to leave a comment…I love mail!
Once again…welcome…I hope we get to know each other in the days to come!
Helen

dear one, the lord has been talking to me about the beginning of psalm 34. my soul will boast in the lord. pastor keith and i talked about it last night. he said in the hebrew soul is more than mind will and emotions. it is a physical response as well. it is like baby birds when they hear their mother coming and open their mouths to eat there is a desperatness in it that without god we will die. cool huh! kimz

HELEN —
It turns out that you were taking my name in vain, and Joanne Heim let me know about it. Which got me here to your blog and then I wandered around it long enough to discover your notes regarding my book, LIVING PRAYER.
Thank you much for reading me in the first place, for saying such kind things about what you read, and for sharing it with your friends. I am honored by the first, humbled by the second, and grateful for the third.
Be in touch, especially if you want to play canasta. Though my grandfather, who taught me to play and did so every Saturday night of his life, did not teach me that there was any such thing as a friendly game of canasta. But perhaps you can show me.
Namaste —
Robert Benson
